Our survey request went out to 160 active e-mail addresses on our list, and 41 of you have already completed the questionnaire! Outstanding! Additionally, 25 of you have "visited" the questionnaire, but haven't completed it yet. Hopefully more of you can find a couple minutes to do it soon. If you're having any difficulty with it, please let me know.
As a "sneak preview" of the responses so far, here are the results in answer to question #1: If you attended the Reunion in Dover on 7-8 May 2010, rate your satisfaction with the Reunion in general. 3 of the 41 who responded did not attend. 89% of those who did, said they were "Very Satisfied." 11% said they were "Satisfied."
There have also been some very supportive and constructive additional comments. Eventually, I will publish all of the results after more of you complete the questionnaire.

In the Nav Seat again

One last chance to sit in the seat! Thanks to Nick Modders for the pic. The Alaska guys removed the LORAN set and installed a little GPS unit.

The Travis reunion had about 150 at the Friday banquet and nearly 200 on Saturday. The C-133 was pulled into the middle of the museum display area, behind the B-29 and next to the B-52. The 60AW has dedicated space near the hospital gate (west entrance to Travis) for the new Travis Heritage Center. The C-133 will be moved, this summer. That will require removal of the wings and vertical tail. The Nebraska guys will do it, I'm told. They have the experience with the 90536.

FYI, the Zoomerang software I have is limited to a mailing list of 99. So about 50 of you will get the e-mail directly from me. It's the same style/format of survey we used in January, '09, to get your input for our Reunion Planning. So please take a couple minutes to work through the Survey and respond. I've received a couple questions about naming the people in the photos. Of course I know a lot of the names, and can read some name tags in the pictures, but many I can't identify. And, some people may prefer to not be identified on a blog accessible to the public. So if you have any ideas, let me know. Otherwise, I can try to answer specific questions.

Smithsonian Air & Space Magazine C-133 article

I had a good conversation today, with Linda Shine, the editor working the C-133 article. I was able to expand a bit on why the airplane is so important to its veterans and other areas of interest. The magazine will hit the news stands at the end of August, so look for it. Thanks to Terry Wall, Don Garcia and several others, we answered the question about loadng ICBMs on both A- and B-models.
